In order to achieve this energy rating, it must be done thanks to professionals who are in charge of studying the degree of energy experience with which the property has. The annual consumption necessary to cover the energy demand of the building or dwelling under normal conditions of occupation and operation will be evaluated.
In this process the consumption and energy efficiency of the heating, lighting, cooling, ventilation systems as well as hot water production are studied.
When the work is done to give this certificate, a specialized technician will have to fill in a document that is known as the “Energy efficiency certificate model”, which is published on the official certification website of the Ministry of Industry.
This certificate should include important information such as the results of tests, checks and measurements of the data that both the building and the dwelling have.
If the building is built, it must include a definition and analysis of the efficiency measures recommended by the technicians in order to improve the energy efficiency of the building and that are technically viable.
If the buildings are constructed, information related to the owner or tenant will also be included on where to obtain detailed information as well as information related to cost / efficiency on the recommendations included in the certificate. In addition, an estimate may be included in relation to the amortization periods of the investment or profitability during its useful life.
